QUILTS...QUILTS...QUILTS A weakness of mine...old quilts..believe it or not..I found this pomegranate quilt in double pinks and terrific quilting ...inside another quilt...she is so one of my favs..
She's a little worn..but that is what makes it so interesting..I wonder who made her...and covered up with her..and who was the genius who saved her by tucking it inside another quilt..simply as a necessity because it may have been the only inner batting or fill they had..bless you for that...
This beauty..never slept under..because the threads are still placed here and there to secure the pieces for final stitching.

A little more of the quilt..no tears..stains..simply perfect..I believe I saved her from the ebay cutters who some time demise our history by cutting up historic and one of a kinds we will never see again for monetary gain. This one was advertised as a cutter sadly...what a sad day it would have been in someone elses hands...
